Completely plant based and biodegradable, this scrubber is made of a bamboo handle with sisal and palm bristles, an ideal combination of firm and semi-firm bristles.

Palm fibres are exceptionally durable and offer robust scrubbing power without causing any scratches to cookware. Additionally, like sisal fibres, they have a natural resistance to odours and bacteria.

Sisal fibres offer gentle yet effective scrubbing action, naturally repel moisture, reduce the risk of bacterial growth and extend the lifespan of the brush.

Materials

Handle: bamboo.
Bristles: Sisal (agave sisalana plant), palm.

Use & Care

Rinse and allow it to dry after each use. Store bristle side down to allow the bamboo handle to dry completely.

To sanitize, place in a 50/50 dilution of vinegar and water or in a bowl of boiled water.

If bristles become flattened, you can revive it by placing it in a pot of boiling water with a touch of baking soda. Place just enough water in a pot to cover the bristles and boil for 5-10 minutes.

Disposal

Scrubber lasts upwards of 6 months with proper care.

Repurpose this scrubber for general cleaning. It is perfect for cleaning the inside of your oven, glass stove top, sinks and tubs.

End of life, cut off the bristles and placed them into the compost. Handle will go into the black bin.
